Indeed, hormone levels are so ephemeral, so specious a basis for sex-typing, that millions of people voluntarily change their hormone levels with pharmaceuticals. It would be absurd for such a mundane, variable and alterable thing such as hormone levels to be the basis for dividing humanity into two subspecies, male and female.
