1. What are the benefits of the Auto Body Repair Technician program?
A. The program has been in existence for 22 years.

D. Actual tear-down and reassembly of a vehicle
E. Training provided on actual cars and trucks- no mock equipment.
F. Students work on their own vehicles.
G. 80% of the training is hands-on.
H. Subjects covered in class: Frame, Body, Painting, and Estimating.

2. Do they have the appropriate equipment? Yes!
A. ACY- oxygen, welding and cutting equipment.
B. 4 MIG (Metal Inert gas) welders.
C. Plasma cutting system - Solar.
D. 2 pieces of Frame STR equipment - Align Rite, Frame Rite.
E. Frame measuring equipment - STECK Unibody System.
F. Paint booth - Devilbiss
G. 2 paint guns - high volume and low pressure.
H. Air tools - Files, D.AA. ssanders, etc.
I. Hand tools - Snap On, NAPA.
J. Video equipment - VCR, TV, microfilm estimating.
K. Video trainging tapes - frame, painting, all phases of body repair.
L. Text books - Motors A.B. Repair, Mitchell, Refinish
M. Safety equipment - jacks, safety stands, respirators, Wilson two-man fresh air paint system.

6. What is the length of the program? When may I begin the program? How will I benefit from the program?
A. It is a two-year program with the option of a third year.
B. It is an open - entry program.
C. We offer special workshoips, working with paint companies and manufacturing representatives, in order to update the skills of students and local industrial personnel.

8. What will and Auto Body Repair Technician Earn?
A. Most local shops pay $27.00 an hour on the average. Approximately 40 to 50% of income is returned to the employee. B. Some shop pay salary only.
